WANTED: pics and info on the LLTek Bottom Door trim
I am looking at getting this. it seems like a fairly cheap alternative for lower sides painted. this matched with S4 side skirts should look good.
I've looked on LLTek site, and I couldn't find anything on it. does anyone have this on their car? what is the quality like?
doesn't Steve@Motorpersona have this?
Thanks in advance!

OK, Steve and I really have to do a FAQ.
Don't get teh LLTek trim. It's too thin, both in depth and height.
Go to www.trim-gard.com and buy a 20 foot box of the basic fat Euro molding. Get it painted and use it.
It'll look a lot better than the LLTek stuff.

I'll be waiting for the FAQ!!!
in the mean time, I will look at www.trim-gard.com and see what I can do. I'd prefer to not fab my own stuff "blindly".

Here ya go......
Buy this. They're thicker (Cover the gap left between the sill and the door better) and taller - (looks better visually).
Measure and cut your strips and get em painted with some flex additive (although it doesn't really matter cause they're going to be on the solid door).
Don't break off the pegs on the doors - cut them off and grind them down to flush. Put a bit of rust protective paint on them, then put the trim on.
Step back and VOILA!<ul><li><a href="http://www.trim-gard.com/product.php3?Partno=8002E-20">http://www.trim-gard.com/product.php3?Partno=8002E-20</a</li></ul>
