Washington D.C. car dealers (service) recommendations? (kinda long)
I live in the D.C. area, and I'm rather disappointed with the service I get with my present dealer-- Rockville porshe/audi, I was wondering if anyone has had better experience with the other local service centers around the area. As usual, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Rich

Re: Washington D.C. car dealers (service) recommendations? (kinda long)
I (thankfully) don't have a lot of service experience with them (my 8 mo. old A4 is very reliable), but Heishman's is good; if you want an independent shop I can recommend, RPM (Reliable Performance Modifications) in Newington, VA (by the Springfield Metro) is good: One of the owners, who are friends of mine, is a former Heishman's Porsche tech, and they know Audis: I'll be bringing mine there for post-warranty work. we've had good luck at Tischer in Silver Spring
My roomie bought a '96 2.8 QM when they first came out. It did develop two problems, the remote quit in certain conditions and the AC stopped working correctly. Both were fixed without any problems, and other maintenance has been done without any complaints or issues. As a result, I purchased a '99 2.8 QMS from them in January. No service has been needed yet.
