Weathertech winter mats (pics and text)
<img SRC="Weathertech_A4.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Here you'll see both Weathertech mats side by side. The one on the left
is the driver's side and has been trimmed by me to fit better around the
dead-pedal. The passenger side mat has not been trimmed at all.
<img SRC="Weathertech_D1.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Here's a shot of the driver's side mat in the car. Note: for all in-car
pictures, I've placed the Weathertech mats on top of the carpeted mats
to show the coverage. When I install the mats for real, I remove the carpeted
mats. The Weathertech mats are heavy rubber and do not move at all once
in place.
<img SRC="Weathertech_D2.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Another shot of the driver's side. You can see that the mat fits well
around the dead-pedal after trimming.
<img SRC="Weathertech_D3.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Driver's side once again...note that the fit along the left edge is not quite as good as the stock carpeted mats. This is my only complaint about the Weathertech mats.
<img SRC="Weathertech_D4.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Final shot of driver's side mat. You can see some scuffing/wear under my right heal but in general the mats are holding up great after two season's of use (November through end of March).
<img SRC="Weathertech_P1.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Shot of the passenger's side mat. You can see the stock carpeted mat peeking out in the top left-hand corner.
<img SRC="Weathertech_P2.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Passenger's side again. Here the difference between the stock carpeted mat and the Weathertech coverage is clearly shown. Also note the slight "buckle" in the right-front corner on the Weathertech...I could probably trim the mat a bit to eliminate that but I decided not to bother.
<img SRC="Weathertech_P3.JPG" BORDER=0 height=450 width=600>
Final shot of the passenger's side mat. In general, very good coverage IMHO.
General notes/thoughts:
1) My black interior shows some hints of blue in some of the trim as other's have noted. It seems to be most noticeable in pictures.
2) In case anyone was wondering, those are sport seats.
3) This is my second set of Weathertech mats as I had a set in my previous car, a VW Corrado. I passed those down to my father for his Nissan Altima (the fit is quite good). I also purchased a set for my sister's Neon and a set for my girlfriend's Toyota 4Runner...so you can tell that I'm a big believer in them.

Good shots (MORE)
Nice, looks like the dead-pedal might stop the mat from moving forward.
My wife and I almost got killed in her Nissan 300ZX when the stock mat got jammed into the gas pedal -- the car just took off. Not funny!
As I've posted previously, dealer said that Audi does not market rubber mats for the A4. I tried out the rubber mats from the Passat and they fit PERFECTLY, full coverage, the angled front and everything!
I'd have no problem using the Passat mats, but as I've mentioned previously the clips are off position by an inch or two. If one can buy the clips as parts from VW/Audi, remove the existing ones, punch new holes at the right position and install the clips correctly, then you are all set. But I don't know if that is possible.
I consider securely clipped mats a serious matter of safety. However as I posted below, the floor studs in my month-old A4 have broken. I may get Audi to rip out the carpeting and replace the broken clips for the next three years -- as often as necessary. It is only 50 cents worth of plastic, but on the third try I may just go with the Massachusetts lemon law.
