Weird noise
I have a 98 A4 2.8 FWD auto. When i start my car when the engine is cold i can hear something start spinning.it turns off after the engine warms up a little bit. It sounds like an air mattress pump. I can also here it turn on and then off when i stop at redlights. I owned the car for 6 months and it never made that noise.
