Well finally tracked down the clunking/rattle noise from my suspension..
It was indeed my lower left rear control arm as many of you had suggested. I was convinced that it was my TRE but had the car into the dealership today and they found some serious play where the CA attaches to the hub.
I was quoted $460.00 CDN for the job at the dealership but I am planning on tackling this myself.
Need some advise though, should I replace all the CA's and the TRE while I'm in there(the lower front CA's were replaced on the recall) or just replace the CA's one at a time as they go bad? The mechanic said that they look like they're still in good shape.
Is it a good idea to do the TRE while things are apart or if it isn't causing problems should I just leave it alone?
Also, I can't decide which brand of CA I should go with. I have looked at Febi, Lemfoerder, Meyle, etc. I'm guessing I should stay away from the eBay kits but is the extra $$ really worth it say between a Febi arm and a Meyle?
Thanks for any input!

no point in replacing good CAs. Plus, one arm is a lot easier than eight
You can do the TRE if you want too but having the lower CA off isnt going to make a difference but TREs are easy to change as is
