Default Well. Just when I thought my luck was changing my battery light comes on.

Went to have lunch and when I got back in my car started it up and it came right on. When the lights go on it's just under 12 volts.

Anyone know where to get a cheap alternator?

Default What's the voltage at the battery while the engine is running?

If 14V, it's not your alternator...

Default Yep. It's a 120 amp Valeo. Took about 35 minutes to take out.

Removed intake hose and unscrewed the fan but left it in place just to get to the second screw out. Hardest part was trying to figure out how to remove that damn alternator plug. I always end up braking those so I took my time with this one and it finally came out.

It's 4:52pm. 8 minutes to beer break.
