Default Well the problem has been diagnosed

The left lower and upper guide link and front drive shift all need to be replaced. Over 1300 for all the repairs. Then over 1000 for the ABS control module then install. and I just went through the ignition system for over a grand. Anyone I can call and plead for help ie. Audi of America or something, Im a college kid and this is eating away all the money im making this summer. Im pretty sure Audi's shouldnt be made to let wheels fall off.
Thanks,
ROn

Default did they give a clue as to what broke first?

most any of this stuff could be weakened or damaged by hitting a curb or pothole. Then finally got weak to the point where it broke.

It's unfortunate, you are out of warrenty (right?), but I can't see how AOA can take any responsibility. Old cars & parts break...

I do not look forward to the time when I'll start to need to replace parts. They are very expensive as compared to domestic replacement parts...

Hope things work out for you.

Default If the axle snapped, you *might* have been able to convince someone of a manuf defect.

Ball joints, well everyone here knows they, and control arm bushings, are weak spots on the suspension on these cars.

I'd like to rip the nuts off the car designer idiot that decided that ball joints are "permanently lubed" and no longer require grease fittings.

make sure you get the old parts back, in an attempt to find out what went wrong.
