Went on vacation in Europe, drove a 1.8T A6 in Germany with some interesting differences.

I found a bunch of old posts that indicate 93 US ~ 98 Euro

I don't know, man...
Where the hell did you eat? ;-)
PS: Speedometers in Germany show higher speeds than actual speed. At 50 km/h it's usally about 3km/h fast, at 200 it can be as much as 8km/h.

i was surprised to say the least .. but the ~200miles/half tank ..
.. was confirmed multiple times because i had problems accepting it at first as well. =)
dunno .. maybe the gt25 had something to do with it. shrug. i wasnt going by the trip comp that's for sure. heh

Their efficiency is different. Taking half the time means they can use that time to be productive.
Intstead of sitting in a car. Typical german way of thinking. My grandparents are models of efficiency and logic. =/

I wonder if when the gauge shows 1/2, you actually still have 1/2 a tank of gas left...
I say that because it always seems to take longer to go from Full to 1/2 compared to from 1/2 to Empty.
