Default Wet braking problem problem addressed thanks to this forum...

After reading all the posts on the forum, I would not take no for an answer, and after mentioning the kit number 8D0 698 998, plus a complaint to the NHTSA website suggested here, plus two calls to Audi of America, a service rep arrived in Hartford, CT. and authorized the repair. I will let you know after a bad rain if it did any good. Even if it doesn't cure the problem, at least I have learned that knowledge is power, if used quietly and firmly. Let's hear from others with this fix, and if it works, petition for a general recall.
