What is causing bad alignment???

I recently had my 01' A4 1.8T Sport Suspension aligned. And when it was done i noticed virtually no difference. The steering wheel was cocked to the left as before. But I'm not sure honestly if it was the alignment that is causing this. I suspect that maybe something with the Spring/Shocks maybe wrong. Seems as if the drivers side just seems just a little bit lower then the rest of the car. An randomly when coming up to stops at the time the ABS i would think goes off (for no reason). Suspension woes. But the alignment was still of an it definitely is not having the handling it once had. Thanks

did you have your tie rod ends and control arms checked out?

both very common points of failure on the B5

A bad alignment shop.

When you have an alignment done, either the wheel is straight or it isn't. If it isn't, it is because the shop aligned the car with the wheels crooked. Most shops that charge for a four wheel don't adjust the rears. Take it back, complain, and make them fix it. Ask for before/after printed specs.

Your ABS issue is probably a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to log wheels speeds with a VAG-COM and see which one is dropping out.

Thank you guys. I had the alignment done at VW dealer local to my area GILBOY VW whitehall(allentown), pa. I figured if they did vw passats why couldnt they do an audi a4? Control arms and tie rods ehh. So even with the aligment done if would still cause this. I had the front drivers side tie rod and cv boot replaced on it. An i had noticed the other day that the passenger side cv boot is torn. But with this whole front end problem between the off aligment, abs or break problem, and the drive side looking a little bit lower i didnt know where to start. Any more ideas greatly appreciated. An once again thank you guys.
