Default What is it with classifieds listings (not necessarily AW) that say "make me an offer"?

Why don't people just put up a price? Are they trying to auction using classifieds? That's what EBay is for. Just put up what you want for it and sell it. If you don't know what it's worth, ask high and say OBO, then give it a week. You must have a number in your head that you feel is appropriate.

Default I hate that crap. It seems so slimey! It imediately turns me off of ever trying to deal...

with that person in a business situation.
