What kind of oil are the 2.8ers using? I've got high mileage.
and I need to know what kind of oil to use (5w 30, 10w 40, synthetic, ect). I bought Castrol 5w 30 because it was suggested in the store but I haven't put it in yet. Should I change to something else? I don't drive real hard, just normal sprints in traffic and rarely do I red line. Oh yea, I'm in Atlanta, GA and its about to get hot.

If you change every 3K miles, using synthetic oil, especially in your warm climate is a waste of money.
Otherwise, if you do 5K, 7.5K or 10K mile oil change intervals, then you should definitely stick with synthetic. Out of the ones easily available at most local auto stores, I'd say Mobil 1 is the best. Either 5w-30 or 10w-30 should be fine where you live.
