Determines how much air is actually entering the engine so it can adjust the amount of fuel to input

Default Closer to 3 inches.. If that light blinks, back off the throttle immediately..

Blinking = major problem... It might not have anything to do with the MAF.. Why do you suspect it?

Default cause my car had no problems,

i got it chipped and it was fine,, then the problem started and i was told by pes who chipped it it was my bpv,, so i changed that, then they said it could be my maf,,, but if i leave the car in second gear and ride it to about 5000 rpm the car smooths out and blinking stops,,,,,or if i ease off the gas it stops blinking

My source said $498.30, so it's obviously a misprint if ScottAW got it for $52.
