at what point in upgrading a turbo can you tell you need to upgrade oil lines and other things?

older 1.8Ts had a succeptible oil feed line
new ones should be improved so they dont 'coke up' with oil deposits. Agree, should repalce it when changing turbo (especially with Ko3 or Ko4..which uses ID tubing). T28s all the other possiblities may require a differnt line, or none at all FAIK.
