Default I don't know why people want shorter shifters - as long as the throw is shorten

when you drive with both hands on the steering wheel - or on the tracks you want the shifter as close as to the steering wheel for quick access. I have a V&S - even though I wish the throws were even shorter but i like the height - I also suggest a shifting linkage upgrade

Default Yeah I am on a budget. I was hoping one of the ebay knock offs...

shortened the throw but not the height. That **** is the worst. It's like playing an arcade racing game.

Default but just remember - that a shifter is a daily abuse item - and i have heard both good

story and bad - some have lasted - others have snap - it is cheap around 30 dollars - so 3 ebay = 1 good one - so the call is up to you.

Default isn't it a shorter throw because of the shorter height, too? The further the **** is from...

the pivot, the more travel.

Default Were your arms too short to hit the 'y' or 'o' keys for the word 'you?'

Mine weren't. And I'm disabled.

Default I think there's a DIY shorter throw shifter. You drill another hole in the fork

I think it used to be in the tech section
