Default What specs should I look for in an upgrade chip 1998 A4 Q1.8T

I am looking at an upgrade chip for my 1998 Audi A4 Quatro 1.8T, it is the early 98 edition and I was looking for the right upgrade...

-AUDI PERFORMANCE & RACING (APR) CHIP UPGRADE/ECU
-200 HP / 243 LB-FT
-M ECU
-APR A4 1.8T chip is available in a 1.0 Bar configuration
-Does not include the EMCS (switch able) feature.
-Adjusts automatically to 91 or 93 octane gas

Any suggestions?

Default Stock turbo? you can go with..

basically anything up to 1 bar. I wouldn't go over that on a stock turbo. The AMS chip is pretty reliable for that type of use. I would go with GIAC or AMS.

Default Buy whatever you'll have local support for...

and if you won't have local support for any, then flip a coin. GIAC, APR, AMS, MTM...any of the four is fine. Now go, spend!
