of my car when the suspension is really compressed(like hitting a speed bump). I changed the control arms and the shocks and springs 20k miles ago and its been doing this since. I tried resetting the control arms and re-torquing them but it didn't help. The only thing I didn't change were the shock mounts which leads me to believe that its them. Although they didn't look bad when I took them out.

Any ideas?

just sounds like a bad control arm bushing.

Thats what I was thinking too but didnt want to say it, seems like it'd be a pita to hunt down

target the side then have someone like Kris Hansen man handle the wheel well and lift the front up then drop down.. You should be able to target upper or lowers then move from there.
