Default What tires to get ....... opinions...

I'm looking for all-season tires...
P3000 - which are very good in price... or
P6000(SV)... I'll be driving in snow too.

thanks..

Sp 5000's are very good all around, not the best performance though.

Default 2 weeks of summer? You must be from southern VT... we only get 1 week in Pomfret..

they don't get any up north.. ;-)

Default Lol ... Born and 'growed up' in Rutland. Moved out to Washington in '74. Here we get two seasons

cold and wet ...warmer and wet.

Default Actually the snow is only an hour or so away year 'round and it rains about the same number of

inches here as in Rutland (just more days of lighter rain). I can drive from salt water, through the mountains and into a true desert in 2-3 hours, so we get pretty much all the weather there is to get.
The season I miss is fall. The fall colors out here don't compare. All my Rutland trips have been either early summer or winter save one. I went back to Rutland for the first week of October in 2000 and was awed. I had forgotten just how spectacular it is.

Default We had a really nice fall this year.. I wish we had that kind of diversity in terrain,

though we can be at the ocean in a few hours too, only in Maine or NH or Mass..
