Default what is this...and what does it do?

the little wire things on the brake pads, would anything happen if i cut them off? i'm asking because the oem pads have them, mintex has them, but apr sure stop and a few other completely ommited it.

might have a low brake pad sensor?

The springs help keep the pads from rattling in the calipers. Why would you remove them?

Default It's the cable to connect to the brake wear sensor.

Have to wait for one of the more experienced brake system guys to answer the question of hooking it up versus not.

Default If your talking about the wear sensor wires you can just plug the 2 wires together that are on the

car. The wires on the pads just make a closed loop, when the pad gets too low the loop is cut by the rotor and the wire does not see the ground anymore. This causes the brake sensor light to come on in the car.

Default what you have circled is the anti rattle springs, but if you ae concerned about the wear sensor....

just cut the clip off the old pads wire & twist the two together

Or leave the old clip and connect the 2 wires with an adjacent splice connector.

I used the old wires from the stock pads. Just twist them together and put a butt connector on them.
