What's a good place to get Clay Bars locally (not online). And what Clay Bar Kits are good?

I picked up a Maguire's Clay Bar detailer kit from Autozone for $10 with Instant Detailer spray.

Default If you do use the Maguire's... bit of advice (from my whopping 1 hour of use with it)

Don't bother using the Instant Detailer spray it is a PITA to maintain surface lubrication. Instead mix up your car wash solution and use a sponge to maintain a stream of liquid across the surface your are using the clay bar on. Instant Detailer is great for touch ups though (bug here bug there... not the VW variety either

Default I think that's true of any clay bar.

Detailing spray will work as a lubricant, but you have to use a lot of it. The companies that make clay bars also make detailing spray, so naturally they want you to use the spray as a clay lubricant. But liquid car wash diluted in water works just fine. And costs a whole lot less to use.

But the good thing is, I only had to use it on the hood and 2 front fenders.
