Bigger turbo means more lag, T3/T4 life does not begin till 5K rpms.
If you want to read up on turbos pick up this months issue of Sport Compact Car. It tells you the difference between T28, GT25 and T3/T4's. T3/T4 is large enought that it moves the power range pretty far up in the rpms. With our cars we can rev up to 7K rps so you would only be in the meat of the hp for 2K rpms which is not much to play with. You will feel like your driving a VTEC since you will have to rev it high enough to get power and if you are any lower then 4K then the car will be slower then a Metro.
