KBB and Edmunds list a trade in at about $12,000. However I think they are worth more as my dealer has one on the lot for $20,000. Thinking of selling the A4 and getting an allroad. Wondering what a fair price would be for trade in as well as a price if I were to sell it on my own.

Laser red/titanium '97 A4 1.8Tq automatic sport pkg, every possible factory option, msrp $29,865. Original owner. Mobil 1 from 1000 miles on. All records, receipts, and window sticker. New tires. Garage kept. 64,000 miles, TAP Stage II chip. No digs or dents, very clean. Car had extended warranty to 50,000 miles. Picks: Stone chips on hood and a getting noiser right rear wheel bearing. Missing one of the two remotes. Black molding along drivers rear door coming loose.
