Wheel bearing problem, need advice
Well after weeks of trying to figure out what the weird sound coming from my car was I gave up and brought it to a local audi dealer. Prognosis=Front right wheel bearing needs replacing. I didn't do it yet but got a quote from the dealer. $180 CAD for the part and $130 CAD for labor. Thats total of $310 CAD or about $217 USD. Is this worth it or should I goto an indy?

Thats not *that* bad...
Labor wise its not a simple job unless on of the techs at the stealership have a tool that con do them without taking the bearing housng off. If not, theres a wheel alignment involved. Thats about 150 time units/ 1.5hrs in labor.

wheel bearing is $43.13, the whole kit is 50.10
