When installing a chip or resetting the ECU make sure the engine is cold??
Anyone know if this is true? If so, what's the reasoning behind it? Something to do with throttle adaptation?
I've switched ECU's back and forth from chipped to stock and never really did it on a cold engine which wasn't warmed up. Anyone else waiting for their engine to cool down completely before chipping or swapping ECU's?
