When the police in my town have nothing else better to do!!!
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/72602/demolition_derby_7.24_024.jpg"></center><p>Sunday night i was going out to my buddy's house for a party and on my way out we pass two state patrolers going the opposite way. I wasn't speeding doing 55 on the nutz, and when they passed, i instintively looked in my mirrors seeing them drive away. We go over the hill and i lose sight, about 30 seconds later i look back again and i notice a set of headlights coming up really quick. Sure enuff their he is, Mr. State Patrol. I get pulled over for a burnt out upper right taillight, a magnified exhaust pipe (not illegal mind you!!!) and no front plate. I leave with a warning and decide to take a few pictures.

what a dumb law, the cops should be busy arresting criminals instead of writing front plate tickets
sure its an excuse to pull someone over and a warning is the furthest it shoudl go for no front plate. If they find something else durring the stop thats different but if the only thing you did 'wrong' was no front plate then you should not be hassled.
My younger brother got a warning on his jeep cherokee for "failure to display registration marker" this was because he had no front plate and a roughly sanded down smoked license plate cover over the rear plate. the warning was all he needed and it was corrected.

Nothing better to do? You break the law... you get pulled over.. you get let off with a warning..
Then, you proceed to complain about them having 'nothing better to do'...
AND you get out and take pictures! If I were a cop and I let some punk kids off on a warning, and then they jokingly took pictures of me, I certianly would be walking back to my car to grab my ticket book.

My 55 year old father got a front plate ticket. They are totally bogus.
Just a way to raise more money, and give them some sort of reasons to ***** with people. Generally they use this sort of lame excuse for pulling someone over when they have nothing better to do cause honestly anything is better than wasting time with a front plate warning.
