Default When should you change the timing belt?

I have a 98 A4. At what point should I change the timing belt?

Default now. as mike said, 60k miles, but if your car is >4 years old

it's also a good idea to change.

which engine? 2.8 or 1.8t the 1.8 need to have it changed at 60k the 2.8 can go longer

Default you shoud change it just before it fails...

but since you don't know that ;-) , change it every 60K miles or every 4-5 years if you don't put on that many miles.
