Where do I plug the $5 Blaupunkt adaptor to?
My installer told me my Bose amp is using the plug that the Blau adaptor plugs into. Is he smoking? Or does the Blau adaptor not work with Bose systems?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Somebody Clear this up PLEASE!!
I went to a audio shop today, the guy had the adapter but didn't want to sell it to me until I took out my DIN and we checked to see if it fit. I have a 99 with Bose and am using a high low converter for now but I want a cleaner sound. The part looked like the one in your pic with 5 prong adapter but it had two pair of female RCA connections. What can I do? Can I run 1 RCA to my subs and splice the other RCA to connect to my rear speakers? He said one of the RCA might not have signal, is that true. I guess the other option is to run my rear deck speakers off the amp but they will probably blow. Ughhh....HELP!!

here is how the blau adaptor works on ALL symphony/concert HU's
The blau adaptor has 6 pins. The words in parathesis correspond to the label on your HU
Left Front (LF)
Right Front (RF)
Left Rear (LR)
Right Rear (RR)
Common Ground (COM)
Remote Turnon (picture of a switch)
These 6 pins are used to power the bose amp if you have a bose system.
The stock wiring harness is either THREE pieces, and one of which is exactly where the blau adaptor would plug on, or it is ONE piece where you can do what greyhound guy did and CUT it so you can plug in the blau or you can remove the 6 pins from the stock harness, remove the 6 pins frm the blau, and then insert them into the stock harness.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by "cut the harness"...
Could you give me more detailed info so I can show it to my installer and let him figgure it out? My car is a 2001 A4 sedan with Bose.

The blau adaptor is the bottom piece in yellow. The stock harness is the piece on top. It's 1 piece in your car. Greyhound guy cut the stock harness off so he could plug in the blau.
You can remove the pins from those 6 holes in teh stock harness, and put the wires from the blau into them.
