I really would like to mount my phone in a place where I can see the display as I'm driving. Anyone have any experience or sugestions as to where and how I can mount my Nokia 6185? I currently keep it in the armrest but really would like to have it in a place where I can see it while I'm driving (caller i.d.). Also, I forget to look at it once I get back into the car to see if anyone called and left a message while I was away.

I place mine in front of the shifter. Right in front of the ash tray.

i put mine underneath the e-brake. that way it has nowhere to go while accelerating hard =)

i place my 8260 in the useless "espresso-sized" cupholders under the middle compartment

Got one of them there Sanyo candy bar looking things. Sits face up in the E-brake nook fine.

ditto, but with a special holder I did.

It works great, and I can see the display while I drive. It also has a hole in the bottom of it for the hands-free mic/earpiece to plug into (this is for a 5190, which dimension-wise is the same as the 6185).
cost me $5 too... :P
