where to find replacement ecru leatherette driver seat bottom cheap?
mine's got a 5" crack along the outer edge. i see 'new' they are $250. kind of steep to put into a 97.

You can try glue it back using one of those clear liquid vinyl thing. Check HomeDepot for "VLP". about $5.

Probably a salvage yard is the only place to get it cheaper than the dealer
this is one of those items that you won't find new anywhere but the dealer. I've tried one of those "As seen on TV" leather/vinyl repair kits and it worked for about 2 days. Didn't even have a color match for onyx, but if it did, it still wouldn't look "like new". Best results I have gotten are with superglue. Squeeze the crack open, put a little glue in, then flatten it and press it down for a minute. It won't be pretty, but it'll hold it together for a while.

I had an upholstery shop replace it with the closest shade they had
They also did my center armrest, which was torn up. And honestly, 99% of the time, you can't even tell the shade is slightly different. Total price $100.
