Default Why? Did it really go bad?

That's the first I hear of any of these units having to be rebuilt. Ask on superchargedaudi.com, you'll get more expert responses.

Default Magnuson is the company authorized by Eaton to rebuild their SCs.

Default All superchargers eventually need to be rebuilt...

If the don't, the rotors are not teflon lined and will simply become "loose" in terms of thier ability to compress air.

Default Eventually, meaning over 100K miles

I don't know of anyone who's had it for long enough to warrant a rebuild.

Default Ok, that's different. And from what I understand quite common for a G2

What you need is a rebuilt or replacement nose, including the gears. You might wanna contact PES and see if they can sell you one. Might be cheaper then rebuilding.

Default 100K with severe efficiency loss..

I don't know what eaton uses but the case looks like your standard "roots" type supercharger.

Back in my drag days, all the blown cars would have thiers relined at least once every two years. Or course this is under racing conditions and usually with alcohol but I would still venture to guess that a 100K supercharger would be far less effecient than a 5K one.

Default That's quite different

Racing units have way more boost and way less (if any) filtering of the incoming air. The PES G2 unit, which is the Eaton M62, produces only around 8psi of pressure and the air going to it is clean, no alcohol, no nitrous, no water injection and OEM air box (at least on the G2).
