Whistle sound at 3200 rpm????

Whistle sound at 3200 rpm????
Under any type of acceleration there is a slight whistle sound at about 3200 rpm. No mods to the engine except it is chipped. It almost sounds like a valve letting air out or something?? Just wondering if that is normal or what it would be. Thanks!!

Hm... well it does it when its warm. I dont drive it when the turbo is still cold.
It sounds like it is coming from the left side of the car. The opposite of the turbo. Maybe like a belt or pulley???

i don't think it was causing any damage, but when i paid for the new $11 part,
it was like getting chipped all over again...i couldn't believe that i had been without that power for so long

No CEL even though you feel all this extra HP came back. Shoot looks like I'm gonna go looking for some ripped L hose....
