I have a motorola with the easy install car kit... it is simply a one wire hookup to the phone, and one wire to the cig lighter.. I stick it in the cup holder below the arm rest.. best car kit evar! and it goes with me easily, thats why I havent hard wired it.

there are plenty of wireless bluetooth kits you can take advantage of..
when you enter the car it'll detect..
parrot2000 makes one I think that works pretty well..
NOT sure about the TELE mute for the symphony radio.
