whoa!... high speed chase just went by my house!
I'm out on the balcony when all of a sudden a guy on a crotch-rocket rips down the road (I live on columbia tpk., a 4-lane 40mph residential/commercial area). This guy was moving, doing 100mph easily. So I'm like whoa guy, in a hurry huh (there's no one around at 11:30 on a sunday night)... low and behold about 20 secs later 2 staties come blazin thru going at least 80 themselves. It's kinda scary when I think about how these poor cops are risking their lives to chase down some guy on a motorcycle... I hope whatever he did was worth it.

Usually they don't even try to keep up with them...
they just let 'em crash, and they pick up the pieces (sounds like thats what those staties were doing). Sad, but true...what choice do they have? They can't keep up with those things.

I think these guys were actually trying to catch him... it looked as though they we're going as fast
as possible, which is really quite dangerous around here. I once almost hit some stumbling drunk woman in the road going about 1/3 of the speed those cops we're going.
