Why does the Passat V6 4Motion have a dual exhaust, but the A4 2.8q doesn't??

Default It's not a true dual, first off.. It might have been to fit the extra
differential in.. or maybe just for the "sport factor." Because the Passat was not originally designed for 4mo, you lose some trunk space along with a folding rear seat.. the exhaust might be part of those changes.
