Default I do that when I leave my car ANYWHERE that requires me to leave keys...

...and put it on a sticky note on the steering wheel.

i.e. Getting dealer serviced, tires balance/alignment, etc.

Default Back when I worked at the Woodstock Inn, I had the opportunity to park many very nice autos...

I never abused them, but did often explore them a little, especially rented Lincoln Town cars.. Those were fun to ride hard down the street to the rear lot. =)

The one car I could not resist leaning on a tad was a beautiful red Ferrari 512TR, that had MFG plates on it. I did not abuse it by any stretch, but let me tell you, that thing was FAST. =)

but doing big launches, clutch drops, etc, that's just stupid, disrespectful to the car and it's owner, and the establishment for which you work. I was the bell captain, I had an extreemly good rep there with guests and management, I would not jepordize that by doing a burnout in some dudes' S600. Those are fast too, by the way =)

Default I used to work valet at restaurant. I learned how to drive a manual there..

Thats why I hate valet parking. I usually wait there until the guy pulls away and parks.I usually give a decent tip when I hand him the keys. I also note the mileage before hand.

Default didn't you have a problem with some guy at a dealer before?

if I were you I'd get one of those chips with a valet mode... sounds like they have it in for you.

Default I would of left my contact info on the r32 for the owner to contact me

similar story I think happened to a friend of mine. Dropped his car off with a parking service and came back to find his clutch shattered/seized to the pressure plate
