Why would anyone buy superturimo wheels compared to superleggera?

The SL: 16lbs
The ST: 23lbs

Unless there is a flaw in the SL with such a light weight why would anyone buy a ST?

I'm not sure I care myself. I'd prefer a durable wheel. So SL really is more fragile than ST?

Default The lighter the wheel, the less material used to make the wheel..
light wheels tend to be brittle..

the Superturismo GT's are soo sick
too bad they don't make them in 19"
