I know this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it in a search.

Default Should be fine....

because you could get the sport wheel on the '97s, I know a guy in my club who has a '97 with the sport steering wheel and sport seats.

Better know how to disarm the SRS(airbag) before you attempt this.

are you converting from the 4 spoke to the 3 spoke wheel? if you are i have several options for you like Alcantra steering wheels or just the plane jane one that comes with every car here in the US.

contact me for more info on fitment....

Cool. I know that things changed over the model years and the later ones are different. Wasn't sure about the '98.

Default The '97 standard and sport wheels use different air bag control modules...

so you better check that the sport wheel air bag would properly deploy when connected to the standard wheel under dash control module....life in your hands doing this! Better contact Audi on this one!

Good point, but I would bet that they do. Audi can't be that stupid.
