A debatable topic for sure. The 2.8 is 144lbs heavier (mostly in the engine) so you run the risk of riding slightly higher in the front than the back. And as compared to a 1.8t sport you risk sitting higher all around (slightly) for same reason. The 2.8 has a different suspension for a reason.

Hey Skibv,
How can you identify the sports suspension from the standard suspension ?? (color, shape, brand name?) I want to get a used A4 w/ sports suspension but I want more assurance that it's there than the dealer's word.
