Default need to make other changes

bigger rotors are usually wider, which means you need to adjust the caliper carriers. not not mention those needs to be adjusted for the placement of the caliper on the rotor

the cheapest method is the A8 upgrade. tech article explains it.

Default Need at least new caliper carriers...

You will need at least new caliper carrier brackets to position the caliper farther out from the axle. Also, you must be sure that the larger setup will clear your wheel rims.

Larger front rotors give you improved stopping from freeway speeds and improved heat resistance for repeated hard braking. Around town your braking distance is limited by the tires. The downside is more mass and rotational inertia.

Default Read the tech article; if you want the most bang for the buck . . .

Go for the A8 rotor/TT caliper upgrade. I heard one person get the parts for as little as $400 and change.

If you want a real big brake(super street or racing track quality) upgrade you will look between $1500+ on the low end and $4000+ on the high end.

I am looking at keeping my calipers and getting just the A8/TT component upgrades.
