I'm in KC too, and am also looking to buy some 17's along with a new sport suspension. I haven't been there yet, but I saw a place on Johnson Drive that sells wheels, etc.. It would be nice to find something local to avoid shipping cost, so I'll let you know when I find the name again.

Default I would 1st decide exactly what you want and then

shop the internet. TireRack, Discount Tire, SPP are all pretty competitive. I would also call a few local dealers and tell them the price (inclusive of shipping) that you got from the internet. You'd be surprised at how competitive some brick-and-morter shops can be. Personally, I generally prefer to support local shops b/c it is often them that you can rely upon for follow up service/issues.

I asked where you lived b/c I found a tire/wheel place in the NY/CT area that has been very good.

Good luck,
Chris

Are you referring to the advertising banner at the very top? Because that constantly changes. Would you happen to have a link to info about this group buy? I'll try to search the archives and post it if I find it. Thanks.
