Will RS4 '01 A4 Sport wheels fit on '00 A4?
Hi listers,
I found a nice set of RS4 wheels for sale, off an '01 A4 sport. Wheel diameter is 17, not sure of the width, 17.5in? Tire size is 225-45-17.
My car is an '00 A4 1.8tqms. It has 55k miles with factory suspension. I'm currently running the stockers, diameter size is 15, tire size is 205-60-15. Not sure of the width...6.5in?
Is anyone running this combo on their '00 A4? Are these RS4 wheels a lot heavier? Does they fit and does the car drive really crappy with it since it's 2 sizes up, or can you hardly notice the ride quality and accelaration difference?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

17*7.5, of course they will fit.
The proper name for them is quattro sport package wheels, or as everyone here likes to incorrectly call them, celebrations.
You don't want them if they are OEM. They are soft as **** and bend without much influence. Go with Replicas.

Re: 17*7.5, of course they will fit.
Thanks for your info and advice, Mike! Would have never thought to ask about the wheel strength, guess that puts the OEMs out of my search.
Even though you mention the 17x7.5s would fit, last time I went up 2 sizes in wheel diameter on my corrado VR6, I noticed the ride quality was very poor...so I'm hesitant to do this again. I am hoping to find perhaps a 16x7 lightweight but strong wheel, and give myself atleast 50 in rubber profile to provide some decent support. What's the smallest size that the replicas come in, and where do you recommend purchasing?

Mine are straight and I lived in Boston for 2yrs on them...
some say they are soft...mine are fine.
I've since upgraded to 18's and those are straight too, maybe I just don't drive through big enough pot holes.
They are actually pretty light under 20lbs...good upgrade from 15's.
