will these sockets be ok for changing my wheels?

You don't technically *need* impact sockets unless you're using an impact wrench, but they will....
...work fine for use with a torque wrench.

Yes...
You can also (or instead of) do these. They are the same product Griots sells for something like $35 and they come with heavy vinyl sleeves which prevent scratching of your wheels when inserting or removing bolts (REAL useful when you are spinning an impact wrench).
I got a set and use them instead of my deep well impact sockets on wheels.
