Default Windows tinting problem

I had my windows tinted for almost 5 days, the guy at the shop told me that "do not roll down the windows for at least 10 days"
Unfortunately, I rolled down the driver windows for like 5 secs and then I find out I made a big mistake!!!!!
Am I complete damage the film? Or, it is just a minor problem? I am so worry about damage the film.

At worst, you'll need to get that window redone. If it didn't move the tint around and cause any wrinkles or bubbles, I think you're probably ok.

Default 10 Days?

Is this a special film? My 3M semi-metallic was only a 2-3 day waiting period. Letting it sit out in the sun helps reduce that time and gets rid of the bubbles correctly.

I had my installer put some tape over the window controls so I wouldn't forget.

My guess is you will probably be ok unless something pealed up while you rolled down your window.

Default 5 days is more than enough time for the glue to dry.

I've had four cars professionally tinted and they've all said 3-5 days drying time before using the window - I think 10 days is overkill (unless you've kept the car in a cool, dark, damp place for the entire five days....).

Anyway, you would be able to see any damage. In general, you should inspect the entire job very carefully to ensure that there are no bubbles, creases, lifting around edges, etc.

The film that I used on my car is called Solar Gard. He also mention that the film might take a very long time to dry up completely.

What do I use to clean the windows? soap and water?

Default I'm in a good mood....

Hata,
I just looked up Solar Gard on the web (link below) and called the Florida Customer service. They recommend 4-5 days drying time on ALL of their Automotive products.

You have nothing to worry about.

As far as cleaning, there are special cleaners designed for acrylic products. Glass cleaners have two adverse affects: 1) ammonia type agents might fade your tint over time, and 2) some have minor abrasives that may scratch your tint.

http://www.solargard.com/Products/Auto.htm</a

My installer (12 yrs exp.) said A4 needs extra days (5 vs 3) to dry due to tight window frames.
