Windshield chip
Great...I hate trucks...I hate em hate em hate em...Car is just over a week old and *Crack* rock right into the windshield, now the chip is a very small (size of the head of a pin) chip what should I do...leave it? care it be repaired if it is so small...I wish I had a little force field around the front of my car...on a similar note...anybody know someone who does Stoneguard installs in the Seattle Area?

Progressive insurance covers it at $0 deductible
In most states, your insurance has a policy to handle this at no expense to you. They basically dremel out the whole chip and fill it in. Painful to watch happen.

Stop by a good body shop ASAP, so they can take a look at it ...
Most of the time the can fix it by sealing the crack with a silicon (if it's small). If it's larger, they'll cut a hole around it, so it doesn't spread out.
Don't drive the car too much before you get there. You never know ....

Call your insurance company and get a referal.
Many insurance companies will waive the deductable on a windshield repair.

Yep. Good advice. That's exactly what I did ...
Ask them if it will show on your record (point). These are small fixes, so you can fork out couple $ out of your pocket, instead of having your insurance go up. You know what I mean?
