winter tip?
i just got a 01 A4 1.8t this summer froma friend of the fam who kept it in showroom condition. he also gave me a bra. so basically i wanted to know what you guys thing about puttin it on the car for the winter months to keep all the winter road debris off the car. let me know thanx.

I generally don't like car bras
Because stuff can get under it and scratch the paint. And you need to clean it regularly.
I would do a clearbra. Then you wouldn't have to mess with it.

I wouldn't use it.
Had one on a car for 2 weeks during the summer. Did a real nice job of scratching the clear coat. I'd personally would take it out to the street and beat it with a shovel.

use only during highway driving...
dont let dirt get under it, I've seen em do more damage than good. But if you keep it clean and waxed underneath then it can protect from stone/salt chips. Keep it tight! the vibrations can scratch/abraise the paint. Only use it when you need it.

most people dont like bra's and if they do long trips they go painters tape style and it works like a charm i did it for my dads chevy last year when we drove down to ga i mean it turns some poeples heads going wtf but it truly does work imo
