Would a Bored-Out Cat throw codes on a Non-DBW??
Would a Bored out stock Cat throw codes or put me into limp mode? How about with a Test pipe?
BTW, I have a 1.8T non-dbw, and I have heard that some high-flow cats can throw codes, that is why I ask.
How much additional exhaust drone if any would a high flow or Bored-out Cat add to our cars?
TIA

You need custom software to disable the secondary o2 sensor
if you plan to run without cat.
Otherwise eventually you'll probably throw a CEL due to the fact the second o2 sensor isn't 1. Warming up, 2. within spec.
