i bought mine at auction a month ago for 8 grand.

2000 1.8t black/black leather 5spd sport package with 56k

auctions are awesome.

all it needed was 1 wheel bearing and a vac line.

thanks for the advice. HOndas and toyotas Dont do it for me. Neither does lexus or acura or any other reliable car

the only cars that Id be willing to spend my hard earned money on is the a4 the 3series or a E class benz.
IM getting this car just for fun(to go out etc..)
I take the train to College everyday and have a home based biz, so I will not put on much mileage either.

As far as getting a 98 a4,I thought about it,and if its a real nice care,i wouldnt mind getting it.

Default Extended warr's are, IMHO, totally bogus.

But if you live in NYC and don't have your own tools and driveway to work on your car... it might be a good idea ; )

It's possible to find the A4 in the price range you're looking for. Be prepared for some maintenance though... it ism however, worth it for an Audi.

Default Hey...I bought my 01 for $9750 recently in Jersey with 76k miles, So yeah, its more than doable...

with the way A4 pricing is going nowadays. Good look searching and take your time. The right one would come to you.
