Default wow, getting great gas mileage without the turbo ;)

About 520 miles out of my last tank......

Which has me wondering, wouldn't it be great to have a way to switch "off" the turbo? when cruising on the highway or something...

Can APR EMCS people switch programs on the fly?

just a thought...

regards,
Liam

Default I thought the same thing. It would be handy.

Also would be good when lending the car to a family member. Not that I do anyhow. :-)

Default Not quite sure, but I think at cruising speed the turbo isn't on?

Turbo will only boost when accelerating or going uphill. I've gotten 35 mpg with chipped turbo @ 65 mph, not bad?

Even a slight grade will cause the turbo to spool up.

Default Exactly... boy, if I could have an on/off switch in the car for everything I had in mind...
