EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS EXCEPT THE LIGHT? WHO CARES!:-)
IT MIGHT BE SOMETHING THAT'S CHANGED WHEN YOU RECODE THE CLCU FOR REMOTE WINDOWS, JUST A THOUGHT. THERE ARE CHANNELS THAT YOU CAN GO THROUGH AND MONITOR THINGS WITH THE CLCU, FOR EXAMPLE, MOTION SENSOR SENSITIVITY/ACTIVATION, REMOTE OPERATIONS, & DOOR CONTACTS. IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE ANYTHING'S WRONG, THOUGH. TRY CODING IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CODE, IF YOU NEED THE LIGHT.

Dangit!
I guess that's what I'm going to have to do... though I'll have to take it back to the dealership again, since I don't have a VAG tool. They'll also inform me that I've invalidated my electrical warranty with the new stereo ... craaaaap.

Most works .. but seems different...
The alarm itself works in that I lock the doors and arm it with windows down, reach in, open the door, then alarm goes off. However I couldn't get the "radar" alarm to go off ... it's at the very least much less sensitive than before, when a gnat could set the thing off.
The horn is so week with the alarm, the main point of it is the LEDs to blink as a deterent... The alarm itself is a real snoozer.
I reaaally don't want to take it back in, does anyone have any more suggestions?
Anyone have a VAG tool in Austin that wants to lend me a little hand?
