Default x-post: Swapping Wood Trim...

I am going to swap out the Bird's Eye maple trim from my 2001 S4. Two questions:

1) Has anyone had experience with this (ie; taking out the existing 9 wood trim pieces and putting in different OEM wood trim)? If so, any advice or warnings? Should I pay the dealer to do it or do it myself?

2) Anyone with a MY 2000 or above A4 interested in my Bird's Eye Wood Trim? (all nine pieces from a 5 month old S4 in perfect condition)? If so, please drop me an email.

Default The dash pieces are a PITA

Those clips are hard to get off. There is no normal "tech" procedure in the manual for doing this so I don't know if the dealer would do this

My dealer has signed on to do it and make sure all the removed wood trim pieces are in one piece/reusable so I think that is the route I will pursue...doing it myself could cause damage, hassle, stress that I do not need! :-)
